Thanks for your continued loyalty to Panama Sights!
As you all know my webpages about Panama have been around since the mid 90's when internet was virtually unknown to the masses in Panama, not even the governmental institutions had a website yet a group of 4 panamanians (myself included) published separate sites about Panama. Mine was the 2nd just by a few hours and by far the only one that survived the years. And sadly, this initiative has never had any recognition in its own country.
To this date this public service is still hosted as part of Coralys.com which kindly provides the bandwidth, programming and administration. This site has built its name as Focus On Panama for many years (unfortunately the forwarding does not work too well there) but from now on this site shall be known by its former name "Panama Sights".
First of all I would like to thank all the people who have provided their invaluable feedback over the years and showed their appreciation for the time I spent responding questions by email. To the school teachers all over the world who have used my site for their school assignments and to all of those who have placed a linked to Focus On Panama/Panama Sights on their sites.
Some years ago I added an Expatriate Forum in the website which gained some popularity and helped those expatriates that enrich our country with their diversity. Unfortunately there have been a few cases of users who abused this service for their own benefit and as a result I have been forced to take extra measures to protect myself.
None of this appears out of a miracle my friends, this costs money in terms of the time invested over the 12 years as well as money to keep the site alive. If you would like to advertise a product, service or event do Contact Us. The forums provided here have a specific purpose and are not for advertising services for free. Likewise please do contact us as soon as possible should you find a problem in the site whether it is technical or a dispute with some other user. For that I shall remind you that by using this service you also have agreed to the terms of service and I shall not be held liable for any content, linked in or out or posted by any member of the community. Should I be involved again in such a dispute due to some user, rest assured that I will do my best to make you responsible for the legal expenses. I am sorry if this remark is too blunt but I am afraid it is necessary.
While these community facilities are offered by Panama Sights, we would greatly appreciate it if you show your support by visiting the main site and reading it before posting questions as well as visiting the links of our advertisers and sponsors, that is what keeps this site alive.
